Australia

sunny 27 °C

G'day!

We have been in Oz for a couple of weeks and are really enjoying the sun. We flew into Sydney and then onto Cairns where we have started our trip down the East Coast.

We did a trip from Cairns to Cape Tribulation for a few days where we did some swimming in lakes and Jungle Surfing (see pic of me dangling 30 feet up in the Jungle Canopy - great fun!).

We have already done a snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef and are off to the Whitsundays tomorrow, so will send some more piccies soon.

Take Care and Loads of Love,
Ian and Rach xxx

Hi Guys,

We left Queenstown a few days ago, which we were pretty sad about as we absolutely loved it there! We are now nearing the end of the New Zealand leg of the trip and are off to Oz in a few days. We've had such a brilliant time in New Zealand and thoroughly recommend coming here if you get the chance. We'll send more updates from Australia very soon....

Take care everyone

Love Ian and Rachel x

Hi everyone,

Sorry it has taken so long to update the site, but we have been keeping ourselves very busy in New Zealand!! We have been having a fab time in the campervan and have been able to see so much of the country which has been fantastic. We've now got down as far as Queenstown in the South Island which is our favourite place so far! As you can see from the photos the scenery is out of this world. Enjoy...especially Ian's bungy jump!

Take care

Loads of love

Hello all!

Rach and I have started our roadtrip in New Zealand, and have managed to get half way down the North Island without any major mishaps yet!

We have visited Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua and now Lake Taupo. Whilst at Waitomo we did a Black Water Rafting sesh in the Glow Worm Caves, which was awesome. We had to squeeze through impossibly tight rocks, Swim under water below low rock formations, and did water tubing!

Rotorua was cool as it had loads of bubbling mud pools and sulpur lakes that smelt of rotten eggs, which took sometime to get used to!

We are off to Wellington, via Tongariro National Park (Mount Doom for all you Lord of the Rings fans), and then onto the South Island. This is the worst winter that the South Island has had for some time, so should be beautiful even if it is a bit chilly!

Send more piccies soon.

Cheers Finchy and Rach x

Hi Everyone,

Here are some more pics from Fiji. We were very sad to leave there, especially to come from the lovely hot weather to the extremely cold weather of New Zealand! We arrived in Auckland yesterday and it really is a lovely city. We have hired a campervan for a few weeks which we are going to travel down to the south island in - roadtrip! We're both really looking forward to it. In case you're wondering, the picture of Rach is from when we had to take part in a Kava Ceremony and she was the 'queen'!

Take care everyone. Will send more pics soon
