Hi Everyone,
Here we are in Thailand, having a fantastic time. The weather is great, if a little too hot at times but there is always a beautiful beach or pool nearby when in need of a cool down!! Ian has even devised a new way of keeping his head cool - see piccie!
We've so far managed to get to Bangkok, Phuket, Ko Phi Phi and now Ko Lanta which have all been absolutely beautiful to say the least. We did some Elephant Trekking today which was great fun although very scary being so high up! We're off back to Phuket for a few days tomorrow before heading over to Ko Samui to finish off our time in Thailand.
Take care and see you all very soon
Rach and Ian x

]]>Hi all, we have been in Vietnam for a week and a half, and have managed to visit Hanoi, Saigon, Cu Chi, Hue, Hoi An and the Mekong Delta! Great place with very friendly people, although it is a very poor country the people make you feel really welcome. The weather is very hot and extremely humid, so we have lost half our weight in sweat!
On a blokey note, I managed to fire an AK47 and an M16 the other day, lovelly jubbly!
We are off to Thailand in a few days, trying to avoid the recent floods, and will send another update then.
Take Care
Ian and Rach xxx

]]>Wow, here we are on the first leg of our tour of Asia - Singapore! It's taken a while to adjust to the very hot and humid temperature over here but we're finally getting used to it a bit now. Singapore itself is very cool, extremely clean and loads and loads of gucci shops to look around - i'm loving it! We managed to get to the Raffles Hotel the other night for a few of the famous 'Singapore Slings' which was great. Our next stop is Vietnam, so we'll send some more pics when we can.
Loads of love

]]>So here we are in Sydney, enjoying the beautiful weather and amazing scenery. We managed to vist Melbourne for a few days where I dragged Ian along to the Neighbours tour and managed to meet Dr Karl Kennedy - see my cheesy photo with him!! We're off to the Sydney Opera House to see a show tomorrow and are doing a Sydney Harbour Bridge walk too. We visited Bondi Beach today which was lovely although it's not as nice as Sandbanks by a long stretch!
Having a great time and hope all is great back home with everyone
Love Rach and Ian xxx

]]>We have been in Oz for a couple of weeks and are really enjoying the sun. We flew into Sydney and then onto Cairns where we have started our trip down the East Coast.
We did a trip from Cairns to Cape Tribulation for a few days where we did some swimming in lakes and Jungle Surfing (see pic of me dangling 30 feet up in the Jungle Canopy - great fun!).
We have already done a snorkelling trip to the Great Barrier Reef and are off to the Whitsundays tomorrow, so will send some more piccies soon.
Take Care and Loads of Love,

]]>Hi Guys,
We left Queenstown a few days ago, which we were pretty sad about as we absolutely loved it there! We are now nearing the end of the New Zealand leg of the trip and are off to Oz in a few days. We've had such a brilliant time in New Zealand and thoroughly recommend coming here if you get the chance. We'll send more updates from Australia very soon....
Take care everyone

]]>Hi everyone,
Sorry it has taken so long to update the site, but we have been keeping ourselves very busy in New Zealand!! We have been having a fab time in the campervan and have been able to see so much of the country which has been fantastic. We've now got down as far as Queenstown in the South Island which is our favourite place so far! As you can see from the photos the scenery is out of this world. Enjoy...especially Ian's bungy jump!
Take care
Loads of love

]]>Hello all!
Rach and I have started our roadtrip in New Zealand, and have managed to get half way down the North Island without any major mishaps yet!
We have visited Auckland, Waitomo, Rotorua and now Lake Taupo. Whilst at Waitomo we did a Black Water Rafting sesh in the Glow Worm Caves, which was awesome. We had to squeeze through impossibly tight rocks, Swim under water below low rock formations, and did water tubing!
Rotorua was cool as it had loads of bubbling mud pools and sulpur lakes that smelt of rotten eggs, which took sometime to get used to!
We are off to Wellington, via Tongariro National Park (Mount Doom for all you Lord of the Rings fans), and then onto the South Island. This is the worst winter that the South Island has had for some time, so should be beautiful even if it is a bit chilly!
Send more piccies soon.
Cheers Finchy and Rach x

]]>Hi Everyone,
Here are some more pics from Fiji. We were very sad to leave there, especially to come from the lovely hot weather to the extremely cold weather of New Zealand! We arrived in Auckland yesterday and it really is a lovely city. We have hired a campervan for a few weeks which we are going to travel down to the south island in - roadtrip! We're both really looking forward to it. In case you're wondering, the picture of Rach is from when we had to take part in a Kava Ceremony and she was the 'queen'!
Take care everyone. Will send more pics soon

]]>Hi our loyal blog followers!
Sorry for the delay in publishing an update on this site, but have been on the Yasawa Islands busy sunning ourselves, and miles away from civilisation!
Having a fab time in Fiji, and the tans are coming on well (although we are going to be in New Zealand soon which is covered in snow so they will soon fade). The Fijian people are fantastic and are SO friendly. Staying at the Mango Bay Resort at the moment which is right on the beach next to where the new Celebrity Love Island will soon be filmed, so you can imagine how nice it is here!
We are unable to publish any more photos on the site at the mo, so will send more photos of Fiji from New Zealand in a few days.
Hope you are all well and be sure to keep in touch via email!
Rach and Finchy

]]>Hello! Well we arrived in Los Angeles, and after catching a bus to our hotel (which took an hour and a half!) got a bit lost and was told we needed to catch another 2 buses. Bit of a nightmare with our heavy backpacks and after getting a bit stressed, decided to pop into a bar before getting the next bus. Well, here's the funny bit - ended up in the gayest part of town ever, and sat down in this bar with me being the only female and lots of topless men eyeing up Ian!! Didn't get much better from there so we left LA after a couple of days and headed to Vegas. Having a fantastic time here, it really is such a cool place. Off to the Grand Canyon on Wednesday where we are taking a helicopter ride through the canyon which should be really good.
Hope everyone is well back home and enjoying the heat wave you're having!

]]>We arrived yesterday to fantastic weather, and are feeling rather burnt today! We spent the day exploring Vancouver's China town, and Stanley Park which is beautiful to say the least. Our next plan is to travel to Whister and explore Grouse Mountain and the Capilano Suspension Bridge which is apparnetly a rather scary experience.
We have yet to find an Internet cafe that allows customers to download piccies from USB devises, but as soon as we do there will pictures as promised!
Take Care all!
Cheers
